I understand that you can write conditions to open/close based on a MA cross or another study. But can a condition be based on price move? For example, sell when price moves 1 point (futures)

Yes, it can. You must define the condition that will begin the price move, then define that condition plus or minus 1 point. It may be a recursive variable if complex. To follow your example, if price close/hi/lo crosses above moving average within 3 bars and OHLC is (moving average +1 point) then do X.
