i will be happy if some body can tell me first_ why this system are not working anymoore means, make only loses with hugh DD - second_ have anybody here a solution for it. i pay of course for any constructive help with result!
it seems strong that the sierra updates are make the issues OR some other.
i hope i can find here any help or bether solutions.
thank you and best regards
see on sierra website the release notes:
--> 2090 Release Date: 2020-04-21 from here!!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
yes the market conditions etc... is possible that are other than yet. BUT is it possible that you make a quick look inside the dll to tell where is the issue. cause i have moore than 95% the opinion that sierra are the issue-maker.
A "dll" is not the file containing the C++ code. The C++ code for an SC custom study is in a "cpp" file.
To answer you question: Sorry, but no. I only have time to work on my own projects. No time for anything else. Plus, I am not a super experienced C++ coder, anyway. Maybe someone with more experience can give you better guidance.
Hi,
why do you don't compare the current trades with the old ones. In terms of setup, entry and exit conditions.
If the trades are valid, then the code is still OK and the market has changed. Also search for skipped trades, were the trade setup and entry is valid, but no trade were done.
@ odafringe: Thank you for your help. you welcome.
@ koepisch: yes i have backtested in real and in sim as the same conditions/setting like before the updates. but when we look trough the glass that sierra uploaded hugh updates... its is like my opinion a reason for the issues.
trade entrys and closings are fully the same like in the profitable using-time.
but i sued a Volumen indicator and i have seen that sierra have doing here updates.
can any one help me please... i will uploaded now the cpp to can check every one for bugs.
If you really feel like SC changed the parameters on the volume indicator you were using, you really only have two alternatives:
1. Seek clarification from SC by presenting your argument to them on their support board
and/or
2. Go to a site like UpWork and hire a programmer to code a custom volume indicator for you using the parameters from the old volume indicator. There are even some devs on the SC board who are for hire, as well.
