Hey.
Long story short.
I have about 20 charts open. Whenever I click on one of them it casues T/S, matrix and lvl2 freeze for 1 second. Its supper annoying. What clicking on a chart ( for example to zoom in or out ) has to do with all times and sales, matrix and lvl2? Why it has to freeze? Even now with super lov volume on the market it keeps doing that.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I do not use TradeStation, so I am really not the one to answer you. But the first thing that comes to me is whether you have too many charts and other displays open.
You can test this easily by cutting back to just two charts and no other displays (no T&S, no level 2, nothing), and then seeing if the problem happens. If not, then try with three charts, then four, etc. If the issue is simply that you are overloading the platform (or your computer as it runs the platform), you will be able to tell quickly. Then you can make decisions about what to do about it. It is also possible that some or all of the charts are running particular indicators that tie up too much computer resources. The way to test that is the same: start out with a simpler setup, then add more back in one at a time and check the result.
This is the basic method to test for a resource issue, in any application. It may help you with your problem also.
Other traders, with actual current TS experience, may want to weigh in with better-informed ideas, but you might want to try this simple approach to see what it gives you.
