I can't find the answer to this indicator anywhere. Whenever I pick the wrong direction in the market, it's always the open interest and volume that show me where I screwed up. I've looked everywhere online, but I can't seem to find a website that shows the what the signals in the title to the thread usually indicate. Can somebody answer this?

Price down
Volume Up
Open Interest Down

This is a day after

Price down
Volume down
Open Interest Down

I know when volume and open interest are down, it's a sign of congestion, but what about price down, volume up, open interest down?

Sorry, let me be clear, I realize that the day after a rally where price is up, volume and OI are down indicate a liquidation, but I was wondering what it meant after price down days.

Thanks!

Price Down and OI Down is a sign of profit takings with no substantial fresh short positions initiated
