Hi Guys,

I am new here, trying to figure out a way to programme the following in Easylanguage for TS:
I would like to set a trendline on dailyhigh and dailylow, however, this line should only move if a new high or low has been established during the day/session.

For example, 3min bar chart, the daily high of 10$ is around 9.30am, so the trendline is set there as of the beginning of the session. At 10.30am, a new daily high occures at 12$, therefore, a new trendline is set as of this bar (at 10.30) until a new high is established etc. Important for me is that the previous trendlines do not disappear everytime a new high is set but are rather fixed and stored.

thanks a lot for your help guys, really appreciate it!

You can use Data2, with Data2 having your daily timeframe. Then just reference the high of the daily chart, as shown in this snippet:

Code
High of data2
One item of note if you do it this way: the daily close is usually different than the minute due to settlements after the close.

It appears that "Day Open-Hi-Lo Lines" indicator does what you want.
