I had pain in my wrist from using the mouse years ago. I switched mousing to my left hand, but after some time also that wrist/arm started to hurt. Then I tried a Wacom pen tablet, a simple one (can be close to your keyboard). That actually solved most of the pain in a week! Have used it ever since, works great as a mouse replacement.
Now with trading, it's to slow, especially because I have more screens to control.
I am wondering if some of you are using those ergonomical vertical mouses, and if these work as fast as a normal mouse?
And maybe there are other suggestions/solutions?

Tried vertical mouse but it was too slow for me. I have not used this Logitech trackball, but discovered these reviews, so might try it myself, as my hand shoulder is starting to make minor 'noises':

I used an Evoluent Vertical Mouse 4 for a number of years. (If I was buying one now it would be the newer Vertical Mouse D Medium). It was very comfortable but physically I found it slower to move around. With a normal mouse I can swing my hand left and right at the wrist and a bit of the forearm, but with the vertical mouse my wrist tended to be most comfortable fixed so I tended to move my whole arm.
For general use no problem, but if you want to move your hand quite quickly, saying scalping round a DOM, it can feel a bit slow. I don't game, but gamers move their mice quickly and gaming mice are all standard horizontal mice and lightweight. The Evoluent Mouse was quite heavy in comparison to a lightweight mouse, and expensive.
I used my Evoluent mouse for probably about four years or so and it worked fine but looked a bit battered as the dark grey finish had peeled off underneath the palm of the hand (the D looks like the finish has been changed and improved to prevent that), so I recently upgraded to a gaming mouse. Certainly faster to use but doesn't have the longterm comfort and remove the forearm twist like the Vertical Mouse (which I still have it sat in a box available to use if I want).

I had to laugh when I looked at the picture. Your mouse and mat look pretty much identical to the ones I just bought, except mine are Razer rather than Logitech.
Have a look. This is the mouse https://www.razer.com/gb-en/gaming-mice/razer-deathadder-v2, and I bought the Goliathus Chroma mat too (not really necessary, I wanted a larger mat and the cable holder so I wasn't dragging the cable round as well).
edit: just noticed yours is wireless, Razer do a wireless mouse mat combo too but it was more expensive and the mouse had mechanical switches so I went with the speedflex cabled Deathadder with the newer optical switches.
(sorry to digress, back to ergonomic mice)

Thanks. This one I have seen yeah, was wondering about the speed when moving between 2 or 3 screens. The forearm would do the work and am wondering if that's going to 'hurt'. But it seems a good option to give it a try
