I was looking for something like this a couple months ago. Searched high and low and came across this one. Probably not exactly what you had in mind but does indicate the time it took for each renko bar to close.
Thanks gifted, you are right not exactly what I am looking for, hoping for just a time readout without another graph on the chart. Thank you for researching it.. If I find anything else I will let you know.
Usually the bar timer counts down the time left until the bar is closed. Such a bar time may only be used with time based bars. For renko bars this is not possible.
What shall the renko bar timer display, and what is its intended use?
This one interests me because OnBarUpdate doesn't get triggered on a consistent enough basis to really display a clock correctly. Instead we have to use a timer. I just capture the time at the start of the bar, and then print out the difference every few milliseconds. I think we can make what it prints out a little prettier, and I might be able to make it more efficient, but let's see if we're close first.
