Custom ThinkScript Scan Coding - Scan for Stocks Based on Options Values
I am in need of ThinkorSwim coding services to create a custom scan. The attached document outlines the intent and parameters. I am not able to create the scan using the available scan filters within ThinkorSwim.
The purpose of the scan (among other criteria noted in the attachment) is to scan all stocks/ETFs with weekly options and then return a list of those stocks/ETFs where the closest at-the-money option within a defined expiration period (i.e. next 7 days) has extrinsic value greater than X% of the underlying stock/ETF value.
For example, scan for stocks/ETFs with at-the-money options expiring in 7 days worth 5% of the stock value.
Example of scan result: Stock XYZ is trading at 10.00. The 9.50 Put expiring in 7 days has extrinsic value of 0.50.
I am looking for thinkscript programmers for hire that may be able to help with this.
Please let me know if interested or if you have any recommendations for experienced thinkscript coders.
Thank you.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Hi,
I think I can help you with something close enough to what you are looking for, let's talk on Zoom or FB.
I live in Europe EST+7, please take this into consideration when you schedule.
Regarding your other questions:
2. Is it possible to set up this scan using Current Price rather than Last Close? Yes, using 'last' instead of 'close'
3. Is there a way for a custom name to appear on the Scan list? Yes
4. Is there a way to get the input fields to show on the custom strategy? Not sure I understood the question
5. Are the results of the scan able to be moved to a Watchlist? Yes, once you saved your scan you can open it as a personal (live) watchlist
I am not asking for money, we are here to help each other.
