Hi, does someone know where NT7 V21 saves downloaded replay data? I have a problem with out of memory exceptions and want to test if I can reproduce the errors. I am using Kinetick data feed and some 3rd party indicators. I would like to reproduce the error and then test with different indicator combinations. I also have a key from Zen Fire for testing purposes. My idea is to also check if the errors occur with the Zen Fire feed. I am quite sure that Kinetick provides more ticks then Zen Fire. I see the program running on a PC which is not better than mine, but on which Zen Fire is the data feed provider.
Are the downloaded data saved in Documents=Ninja Trader7=db=data=*.ntm/*.nt2?

For NT7 it's now stored as a Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition (CE) database in .SDF files. For NT7 32-bit on Windows 7 64-bit there is a .SDF file:

c:\Users\your user name\Documents\Ninjatrader 7\db\NinjaTrader.sdf

Under this folder you'll see sub-folders "day", "minute" and "tick" and sub-folders in each one for each instrument. This is where the bar data for each instrument is stored. Unfortunately, I don't know how to access or browse this data, it seems to be proprietary to NinjaTrader, but I could be wrong.

However, you can browse the contents of the main database with SQL Server Management Studio. From the "File" menu select "Connect object browser..." then in the "Server Type" field select "SQL Server Compact Edition" and then in the "Database File" field browse to your .SDF file.

Suggestion: Turn MarketReplayRecorder "OFF". you can always download whatever you need from Ninja's data servers (unlike NT 6.5). That way, you keep your file sizes smaller, don't end up storing days, weeks, months & years of data you may never use or look at and NT7 runs better because it's not having to record & store the data.

After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!
