I am new to scripting and struggling to get it right. I can write awesome equations in excel but struggling to figure out thinkscript.

Anyways I am trying to figure out how to create a label to show me the movement of price in the close 5 minutes ago to the current last price.

Thankyou for any help or direction. Im sure this will be a simple code, once I am able to get a few simple things under my belt Im sure Ill realize how easy it is.

You will have to be on a five minute chart or less. If you’re on a smaller timeframe than five minutes, you can use the define time aggregate feature set at five minutes. If you are on a five minute chart the code will be simpler. You’ll script the following Laymen terms concept.

Add label that if Close(1) > close then color.red else color.green . thinkscript close represents where the current price is located, but close of x bars back is where that bar actually closed.
