After reading a lot of topics on this forum the last few day`s i am convinced that this forum can help me succeed as a trader. Lots of comments are very useful and i like the view of others on trades.
Instruments i trade:
European session: FDAX
American session: CL
2 types of entry`s i use, i will add a screenshot of my charts asap
Go with the flow:
- All 3 timeframes are rising/falling entry at pullback
- Trendreversal (short only) when the speed goes out of the up marketmovement and bounces at a sup/res lvl and the speed increses to the downside i jump in to the trade as price is falling again (near high)
i traded a neutral market, shorted as soon as the price fell again (a 3 tick lower high)
5ticks for me, i had patience but the market turned around so i moved my stoploss to entry+1 and moved the target to 5 ticks.
if i let it run i had a loss, so this time moving the stop and target was good
2nd Trade: +7 ticks [short at lower high (last shoulder, head-shoulders pattern)
Both are shorts at the lower highs, as you can see at the charts added
Problem for today was patience to let the trade roll (afraid of a losing trade), my target is 12 ticks that should have got filled if i stayed in.
1st trade i was sure that i jumped in too early because around the time that the floor opens the market makes sometimes it makes weird moves.
2nd trade i was afraid that it would go back in an uptrend, i didn't wanted to have a 1 tick winner.
