Hi,
I know how to calculate if a MarketMaker like UBS
or other big one have been making profits today or if they are minus and need
to move price.
Most of time they make profit but if i look at hundreds of stocks i will find ones
where they´ve had bad fortune. This might create oppurtunity.
Question:
If i know that UBS (example) need to move price up to make profits
is this a good signal? (if they are big in that market)
Or might it be waste of time since they might have sold a lot in ECN,s
(secret networks) to hedge this so in reality they are neutral?
If anyone in here work or have worked as a market maker i want to talk.
I only want insight from people who know about this.
Dave.
