Thanks! Yeah I did a little research and figured that was the case. That's awesome though, good luck. What is their platform like? Or are you using a different one?
I am using NinjaTrader 8, which I've used for over a year now. They have other platforms available too: TsTrader, Trade station, etc.
Thanks for the good luck.
First day was good, I am waiting for the website to update, and I will post the results.
Nice, that's good you're using a platform you've used for a while. I just checked, it looks like one of the platforms they offer is by Tradovate, which is what I currently use. So that is reassuring knowing for in the future when I am looking to get into the online prop firm world.
Off to a good start I'd say. Only two trades in ES, missed a very good one towards the end of the morning, because I was distracted... Lots of volatility today, so instead of using a 2 contract size, with a 12 tick stop(this was my initial plan), i choose to use 1 contract, with a 20 tick stop.
Happy trading to everyone! Let's see what the market offers tomorrow.
So, today markets were crazy after the Fed rate cut. Crazy swings, difficult to go in, even with one contract, and be under the risk limit. I managed to get into two trades in ES, and one in CL. All three were wins, but only one got to my target, the other two, I had to close it before, because of the high swings - I was afraid of slippage going through my stop loss.
Still, a winning day. Looking forward for tomorrow.
