Converting EasyLanguage to C#

I have recently switched over to FXCM's new trading platform, Strategy Trader, which looks like it is a custom version of MC or MCFX. However FXCM have decided to allow only indicator coded using c#.

I have a number of indicators I used to use that are coded in EasyLanguage, but I need them converted over to c#. I have searched around the net trying to find out how I can do this. The programming wiki that FXCM have setup isn't very good at the moment, so that's not a real option.

I have no experience of using C#, so would love a bit of help for anyone on here.

Thanks in advance.

Hi christof21,

The programming wiki FXCM created has the C# code source for about 270 indicators and almost 400 functions . We'll be adding more detailed guides to the wiki in due time, hopefully soon, to help with converting any custom indicators into C#.

The feedback is appreciated.

Christof-

I am a programmer by trade. I work for "a large software company in the Redmond, WA area", and in particular, have been programming in C for > 22 years, and C# for the last 9.

While I have no experience with FXCM, I do use TradeStation. Yes, I'm a newbie, but willing to learn.

Send me a pm with some more details. I'll give you a hand.

Sorry just seen your reply BDawg. not logged in here for a few weeks and didn't get an email notification on your comment. I'll PM you for sure. Interested to get your input. The FXCM wiki that Jason mentioned isn't much help at all for me unfortunately.
