TOS bar count labels

Does anyone know how to program or put scripts into TOS that will count bars (bar counts) on chart. maybe most of you know TS has it. wonder if TOS does?

What is your reasoning if you don't mind me asking?

Some traders like Al Brooks do a bar-by-bar analysis and need an indicator that puts numbers on each bar so they can logically compare them.

Here's the rudimentary off the top of my head version, modify to suit.

rec barct = if isnan(barct[1]) or barct[1] < 1 then 1 else if barct[1] > 0 then barct[1] + 1;

addchartlabel(yes, concat("barcount = ", barct), color.PLUM);

If you choose DRAWINGS--->TRENDLINE and start drawing a trendline a databox will show you the bar count as you draw it. If doing multiple counts like this then always just right-click (rather than left-click) at the end of the line and it will delete so you can do your next count.

Do you mean: show the current bar number ?
If yes, BarNumber(); can do it.

Let me know if you need help with thinkscript or Ninjatrader.
