hi folks,
I am trying to develop a custom bartype. now i want to place a datetimepicker in the property descriptor. can anybody throw some light on how to do the same as i am stuck on that part.
thanks in advance.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Sorry, I don't know how to add a DateTime, but I think you will have to play with this routine:
This example shows how to remove and rename properties. To Add one, there is an Add method, but I am not sure on the syntax to create a PropertyDescriptor. Hope that helps.
I think you are venturing into the grey area of unsupported in Ninja. They exposed the bar formation code, but don't really tell you how to go about it. Being able to add your own properties would really be helpful in BarTypes and ChartStyles. This is one of those cases, where posting the Ninja forum might help. Tell them what you are doing, and ask if they can give you a "hint" on how to add a property of type DateTime, int, string, etc. They may decline or might give you something to get you started. You could also try asking Roonius, who works for them now. If anyone knows how to do it, he probably would be it.
