Hello all, I am currently in demo mode for r trader pro and have found a few hurdles or qs I need help with
1. I have three screens that I spread charts/dom/position table etc and I can't find a way to save the layout so that when I log out and in they all come up in the right spot on each monitor, they come up all on one monitor. Any fix?
2. Is there a way to haveultiple securities live streaming in the same excel sheet from r trader?
3. Is there anyway to link a chart to the quote board so that it changes what's being charted when you click on a different asset?
1. You can save settings to Local file and then Retreive the same file 3. No you cannot link but open separate DOMs/charts...not sure about number 2...
Have tried 'save settinngs' under file and saved to my computer but still didn't seem to keep the charts and sheets in the correct location. Any chance you can walk me through the process of saving it?

I have a few windows on my main monitor and few charts/1 DOM on my laptop. Here is what i did
1) Once everything is laid out, then Save Setting to File
2) Then when i close and reopen, YES it does open on my laptop all bunched up.. then i move the main window to my main monitor
3) Now i retreive from File (so File - Retreive Setting from File) and reload what i saved and now it all goes to the right windows (ie main windows on my main monitor and the 2 charts/DOM back to my laptop) - so i am sure with 3 monitors will work as long as all the monitors are switched on
Especially since you cannot link, then u need to have all charts/DOM all laid out otherwise the platform is limited
Thanks. Will try it out...I really like r trader pro for the excel integration, do you know of other platforms I should try that allow live streaming into and trading within excel?

CQG,TT and r trader allow for excel integration but I think only r trader allows to place orders in excel (CTS allows excel integration but not sure exact functionality) There are more nuances depending on what you are tryin to achieve
Really starting to like r trader pro, one of the things that is holding me back is the stability in paper trading demo mode... Has anyone experienced issues with stability in live trading?
