Hello,

I'm looking to add additional lines on the RSI instead of just the 2 that come with it. Does anyone know what I need to add to make this happen? I've tried adding it into the code but I can't seem to make it work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Use the indicator called Constant lines. You have to put it on the indicator and not the instrument. Also choose the panel that the RSI is in.

Thanks,

That's the way I'm doing it right now but the reason I want to add it to the code is that if I want to add the indicator to another chart I need to add the lines again. If it was coded then it would be added already

Hello Paul.
You cannot permanently alter a NT native indicator, any alterations will just disappear when you try to compile or save it. You must copy the RSI with a new name, say PaulsRSI. to do this, open the editor and get the RSI up. Right click anywhere on the cade and left click Save As in the context menu. Enter the new name and click OK. You will now have the new indicator and you WILL be able to edit it.
Any problems let me know.

You should be able to just use a horizontal line drawing tool and just attach it to the RSI. Draw as many as you want and then right-click them, go to properties, and then edit their values. Lock them and you should be set. Set it as a template and it should become your default or you can load the preset when you add the indicator to your charts.

Hope this helps!

The stock RSI script has examples of how to do this already.

Basically you add an AddLine() to the State.Historical section of the code.

And you add a Properties for the name of the variable you are using in the AddLine() so that it shows up as a user changeable property in the Properties popup window.

Add the lines and save it as a strategy.

template - not strategy. Sorry.
