Has anyone figured out how to get true tick by tick data in SC? They recently implemented it the last TWS build and you can see it in T&S in TWS, but as always, the data still gets chopped/consolidated when connected to SC (or Ninja, etc). So its still unreliable for footprint, delta charts. Saying that, recently someone suggested to call IB tech and they can straighten it out (worked for a trader), but I have yet to find anyone who can at IB who understands what I am asking. Just seeing if anyone has been able to get that done or if its an urban legend ;-)

Does this mean that we could actually use IB data for volume profiles in Market Delta and it would be accurate ?

Thanks

It would seem so, but until I figure around this "limit" we see in SC or Ninja, etc....I don't know yet. It's like they put a filter in for all 3rd party apps.

The most likely explanation is that the charting vendors haven't updated their request calls and are still using `reqMktData` instead of `reqTickByTickData`. Since there are tighter restrictions on how many symbols you can monitor the raw feed on, this may be intentional. Most users can get 3 tick by tick simultaneous subscriptions, whereas they can get 100 simultaneous subscriptions with the aggregated feed.
