Whenever I spend enough time with an instrument I find some tradable pattern.
Thus, trading several markets is adding to some degree to profit.
Nevertheless, the more markets I trade the lower is my "hit rate" (in some instruments much lower) because I could not specialize in all the ins and outs of one instrument.
My questions to long-term profitable traders are:
- how have you handled this tradeoff?
- is diversification working better or specialization?
- when trading several markets, were you able to keep pace with changing markets/structural breaks?
