How do you organize your trading notes and material
I'm continuously studying the markets and making notes and taking screenshots. If I backtest a particular pattern or behavior, I have one folder for that with screenshots and notes.
I do my best to organize this information logically in folders or separate documents according to fitting categories, but still, it gets messy and hard to review later on due to the sheer volume of it all.
Any advice on an approach or tool that could better help my organize my research/notes?

I just use the basic free version that allows a 60MB upload limit. The upload syncs your notebooks on their servers so I could access it from different computers if I wanted, and easily share by just sending somebody a link to that day's journal if I say had an online trading partner. (It also acts as a backup if necessary though I tend to manually back up the notebooks to a file on my computer once a week anyway).
I keep a comprehensive daily journal with screenshots of charts before the session, at the end of the session, results tables etc. I did use .png files then realised that .jpg was a lot smaller file size after coming close to my monthly limit. Normally I don't though but the next level up is only $5 a month anyway.
They do have a range of templates available when creating a new note which will give a few ideas and can easily be edited and copied to create the look you want.

Is there a learning curve to this program? Any chance you'd like to share a few screenshots? PM is an alternative if you don't want to disclose things publicly. Or maybe you don't want to at all. Completely understand if so.
I use a written journal for my pre market analysis like levels,news, vol ect
I use two different set's on google sheets
1) if for my daily profit ( its just a big calendar)
2) I have all my recorded info broken down into a few different sheets in one
*my journal
*my daily goals
*my weekly summary
*my ECM, this gets filled out every 15 minutes
I also keep pictures of all my trades saved to my google drive & my pictures folder broken down into months
Its a lot to keep track of and at times its a pain in the ass but it helps and its what works for me. If I was to re do it I would make everything in one google sheet and make a spot to put the pictures of my trades next to my journal entry.

The program is pretty simple because there isn't really much to it. Basically just:
Entering text.
Creating a box and filling it with text.
Pasting in pictures.
You can add live weblinks to that will open or link to Excel pages for instance but not say include an excel spreadsheet within an Evernote page that you update each day.
The main thing is you create a template for your task, like my Daily Journal, fill it in and paste in my charts etc, then the name day I duplicate it, rename it with today's date then delete sections that are specific to yesterday and rewrite them for today. You can also apply tags and filter the journals with those so easy to find...and so on.
I did post some screenshots quite a while back when somebody else talked about journaling. I emailed a couple of people a copy of daily journal I use. Can't remember the thread it was now though. I will switch on my Private Messaging for the day and if you PM me I am happy to send you a copy to get you going if you decide to try the program. (This forum does not allow .enex files to be uploaded, which is the Evernote format, so you will have to send me an email address if you want a journal file that you can import in to Evernote).
