I use TOS for everything. Charting, options, daytrades, analysis but to the smallest degree, /es and /nq. I really enjoy using the active trader tab (aka DOM) on TOS.

The costs of commissions is way to high though and it was recommended that I look for a broker that specializes in futures.

So here I am, super lost and confused....yikes!

I plan to stick to charting, options and analysis on TOS but would like to see if maybe making my executions on another platform would make more sense, cost wise where all i have open is essentially a DOM window with one click trading.

Any recommendations?

I demo'd tradeovate so far, I like their DOM. I also have tried "firetip" from discount trading. I didn't really like firetip too much.

From my experience most of the guys that we have received from TOS like Sierrachart or the GainTrader API. There is a position that likes automation with the TOS script, they use Multicharts Powerlanguage.

Just sharing our experience.
