I am going to open a live account with ampfutures. I want to use sierra chart. when I try my demo account, its using CQG data feed. the way they name their symbols is totally weird. instead of using ESM19, it uses F.US.EPM19.

The good thing is ampfutures gives you a few choices. I am curious which one is the best. or they are all the same, just different providers.

CQG
TT - Trading Technologies
Rithmic
CTS – T4

Depends on what your needs are. Although you shouldn't use CTS-T4 as SC is no longer going to support development for it.

Each datafeed has strengths and weaknesses so only you can decide what's best for you.

I use CQG for data and order routing with SC.

SC does not provide glowing views in relation to Rithmic.

TT does not have accurate bid/ask data if that is relevant to you. But note that SC's new data/order routing service which uses TT (and apparently AMP will support) does have accurate bid/ask data according to SC.

The thing is that the new SC service with TT is more expensive than using the free SC Package 3 version and CQG data/order routing provided by AMP.

I've used SC/CQG for a few years now, no complaints, it's been accurate and reliable.

I've used CQG, Rithmic and Gain, as well as SC's own data feed for the charts and all worked well.

SC doesn't like Rithimic due to the way they are set up and it's caused an occasional problem, but nothing major. I don't execute from SC, just use the data for the charts, so any issues don't affect my trades.

Rithmic has the most depth for price levels, IMO. I agree with you on how CQG does the naming on the underlying, it's not logical at all.

I've always been a fan of Rithmic's R | Trader as I trade from the DOM and not from the charts, as stated above.
