Went live on nq futures.
Background:
Started with interest in stocks and options 7 years ago dabbled in it.
Looking back cant believe i put in live money without knowing anything. Had random success and failure took a long break job life etc.
Moved onto forex 2 years ago to avoid PDT rules and divisiblity of entries
Worked with a trading mentor and took my trading real seriously learning the markets and how they interact with one another. Lot of time spent working on myself discipline and screen time to make proper trades. Got much better still lacking consistency.
Moved on from mentor and forex to futures where I preferred the leverage and “predictability” of index futures.
Have my own hybrid version of market sense and the way mentor taught to trade.
Demo’d different index futures and settled on nq due to granularity, volatility and trendiness. Blew up a bunch of demo accounts learning to control the leverage of futures. Spent january on demo sticking to my rules and finally having consistent success. Mostly green days in the month and up about 225%.
Started my live account again with $1500. Will be posting trade journal posts intermittently.
Hoping to document my trading as I work towards the freedom trading full time can bring.
Curious as to the feedback. Those of you guys with more experience and success thanks in advance.
