Those of you who add pictures of your charts/trades to your journal what do you use to edit them, draw line's add text box's etc etc. I've looked at snagit but am being cheap, All Im trying to do is add text boxes and lines with arrows.

Snag it is about the best I found - BUT - it crashes a lot - so I'd say 1 out of 8 screen shots I take fails & I have to wait for snag it to restart.

That could just be me though.

Snipping tool in windows is adequate but damn clunky.

I didn't use anything else - but I sure would like snag it to work 100% of the time.

I currently use the snipping tool but it seems like everything has to be drawn my hand and there are no symbols or prevent defined lines

A really round about way of being able to type on the picture and draw some relatively straight lines. Use Paint, it is built into Windows even on the current Win 10 build 1809. Hit the Print Screen button (above the delete and can sometimes need a fn press as well), then fire up paint. Then paste directly into the program (normal right click and paste or ctrl +v). Use the crop tool to frame up what you want and use the existing tools as needed.

I use the snipping tool (built in Windows software), though it is a lower quality grab I notice.

I paid for Movati. I used to use JING, but when I added another monitor is just kept crashing. The bad news is that they don't get uploaded to a server, but I've converted to evernote to solve for that.

Snagit for me but I mostly mark-up my charts in ninja trader. Not using Snagit to it's full potential but have no issues with it crashing, I find it works great ..
