In recent months I found meditation to also help me with my bad habits of impulsive entries and just making bad entries. I would recommend to all who are involved in any high stress jobs...

try to meditate every morning before the session, doesn't always happen but it helps out a ton.

That sounds like a good use of hypnosis to help with trading.

I saw a hypnotherapist to help me with bad habits, impulse trades, that sort of thing. But it didn't help. Mainly I think because the therapist seemed more focused on their own version of what they thought was important, ie. a sort of holistic approach to being more positive and 'happy' generally. Like i say, it didn't work, and seemed to make things worse. I think if you found someone who understood what was happening it could work well though. Self hypnosis would be worth a go.

I meditate most days, and it definitely helps- mood, perspective etc..

I have done both since 1998 and still do.

1. Hypnosis with quick thinking and another with I have a good memory. watching those videos was time well spent.
2. I also meditate to this day, Although differently since 2015. I bought 3 cd's that put you into the meditative state as though you were meditating for years very well done.

Absolutely! How we view ourselves, the markets, life in general, is a reflection of our inner states. The shifts in perspective from consistent meditation, mindfulness practices, and reflection has benefited all areas of life for me. It's the gift that keeps on giving

My meditation is brutally hard conditioning workouts 3-4 times a week depending on how well I am recovered and a great sex life.

In the past I spent so much time working on the "mind" while ignoring the body.

Now I pretty much ignore the mind and focus on the body entirely.

The mind just stays in line this way naturally.
