I have been using a spreadsheet to track my trades for a number of years but I have been more of an investor lately accumulating a portfolio of dividend generating stocks and would like something more suitable. Has anyone tried https://www.stockportfolioorganizer.com/ and can share there thoughts it looks like what I need? Alternatively does anyone have an awesome spreadsheet that has a way or tracking dividends and trust distributions?

It's a good resource and it can really help you do and control all the calculations.
But as far as I know, many traders do it manually. A lot depends on what kind of data you are interested in.

Late for OP but I stumbled across suredividend.com. You have to give them your email but the free wilshare 5000 spreadsheet might have some info you find useful.

https://www.morningstar.com/portfolio-manager is quite good. I've been using it for the past couple years to test portfolios of various ETFs with dividends. I use the free version. If you have a paid subscription, which I think is a bit expensive, then you get even more features for researching various equities.
