Does OnDemand for Futures work as good as Equities?

Hi I am having problem playing with OnDemand for /ES futures trading simulation for a past date. The charts and order placing work just fine for equity symbols like $SPY, etc. But when I pull up /ES charts or try to place an order, it doesn't work. The charts do show up that snapback in time. But they are not simulating real time update like for a regular equity symbol. Also tried to place market order on /es. Didn't work. Although market order for $spy and other equities work.

Did anyone else have the above problem? What did you do to circumvent it?

So I found a good enough answer to my question. Apparently, I was doing backtesting for 2016 using "OnDemand". But when I did for the recent weeks, there was all the /ES data including charts, etc that were simulating updates in real time. So my conclusion is that for futures, Ondemand works well with only recent past not too way back even though it works well for regular equities. How recent does it work for futures? I haven't tested that yet. If someone can throw more light, please feel free to share.
