Hello,

I'm looking for a trading timer with a repeating, multi-time period countdown that automatically starts at a specific time.

Ideally, it would be great to have it on a desk or as an app for a MAC/Windows or iPhone. The desk option is the best because my screen is already busy with charts, so if it is on a desk it is easily visible and I would be able to just glance at it and see when the next candle will open.

I would like it to automatically start counting down every 3, 15 and 60 minutes when RTH session starts or from some other custom time. The 1-hour countdown would need to start at 8:30 EST, for example, because it overlaps the 9:30 EST (the start of the RTH session).

I have found plenty of countdown timers but they are mostly for cooking and don't have an option to start at a specific time. I have also searched for trading clocks, financial clocks, etc, but did not find anything useful.

I appreciate your help,
-John.

I've tried it in 2017. It does not work on my computer for some reason. I could not change the default alarm or create a new one using the trial version, which it says on the site is fully functional for 30 days. Does it work for you?

I use it everyday. I have Alert for 10:30 (first hour) everyday and on Sunday I set any weekly market mover alerts (FOMC, GDP, Jobless, etc). Used for years.

@ChrisTinaBruce I just tried it again. It seems to work now, but I do not see an option to start, for example, a 15-minute countdown at a specific time, when the cash session opens. Is there a way to do that? Not an alarm, but a 15-minute countdown that starts at 9:30 EST and countdowns every 15 minutes.

@ChrisTinaBruce

I spoke too soon. It still does not work for me.

The countdown does not have an option to start at a specific time, but an alarm does. The issue is - and this is the same issue I had in 2017 - is that from this screen when I click Ok or Apply, nothing happens, so the feature is there, but it does not work, because there is no way to set up an alarm like that, or it just does not work on my computer for some reason.

I have figured it out why it did not work. Turns out I needed to change the Windows' date format. The date format should not have the day name part. It works now.

This is web based but you can infinite loop it and set whatever time you want it:
