I downloaded this indicator file here but when I try to import it I get an error saying that it was made for an older, incompatible version of Ninjatrader. Fair enough. Does anyone have code for NT7 / NT8 kase bars? Or any ideas on how to modify this older code to be up to date?

unlikely anybody code it for NT8 but kaseco.com has it on their website.
now back to NT7;
1) copy KaseBarsType.cs into \Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Type
2) import any indicator you import before to compile KaseBar
3) restart Ninja and look for it at type, if you don't see it read more
-I have no problem import it. Note: its bartype = Final2
-if you already have another bar type = Final2 then you will not see Kase bar in the selection, edit it to Final4, Final5 etc... then start from step 2
-to see what bar types you already have run the attached indicator BarTypesInfo.
Note: bartypesinfo.cs goes to \Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Indicator
KaseBarsType.cs goes to \Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Type

I contacted Kase and it seems they do not have kase bars available for NT8. They have some fancier variants combined with indicators but this is not quite what I am looking for.
Does anyone have any advice on how to convert the NT7 kase bar code to be compatible with NT8? Perhaps there is a migration guide that people have used for other bars or indicators?
Thanks @agalindoc, i'm a novice with anything other than excel but, i've tried to alter the logic for kase bars you have kindly provided to be a log true range instead of points. I wonder, would you be able to let me konw where i'm going wrong?
