Canada’s “first” and “only” regulated Bitcoin (BTC) fund First Block Capital Inc. has obtained mutual fund trust status, allowing investors to put their fund units in self-directed registered accounts, according to a press release published September 10.

There is another option as well in Canada which is the fund from 3IQ
https://3iq.ca/3iq-global-cryptoasset-fund/

Unfortunatly the MER is very high at 2.95% and not pure Bitcoin (about 50% Bitcoin, 35% Ether, 15% Litecoin) but I think it is the only way for Canadians to hold Bitcoins in a registered account.
