Hi All,
I need to submit all all orders before the market starts.
I donot have time to follow or modify the orders during the day, and to restrict emotional actions.
-I want to buy stock-X at the open rate in the morning as soon as market opens. (market order to buy)
-attached to market order, I want to put OCO bracket order
LIMIT=+1%
STOPLOSST=-1%
based on the rate at which stock is purchased.
exp:
I buy stock-x at $100 at the market open rate.
so, bracket is [99-101]
I expect my position to be closed either at 99 (with -1% loss) or 101 (with +1% profit),
but not at any rate out of this range. [99-101]
so far, I could not figure this out on TOS.
as it seems that bracket order is just for triggering another market order,
and in due time price may go out of the range.
or bracket order legs are cancelled/rejected by the software because of “increments”
how can I make sure the position will be exactly closed at exactly at either of the OCO bracket thresholds I put?
what type of order it must be?
any idea/help much appreciated.
