More humane meat via selective genomic editing/CRISPR
One of the fastest ways to more humane meat may be to use genetic editing tools to reduce the brain complexity of animals consumed for food. The benefit of this method is that the meat is otherwise completely the same except for cells in the brain. Genetic editing like CRISPR might be used to reduce/remove the cells associated with higher level brain functioning while leaving only the basic functions. More advanced implementations could completely remove the brain from the genetic blue print which could be supplemented by chips thus reducing the possibility of harm even more. This mechanism has other benefits for lab animal studies, land use, growth rate, etc.
Personal Cooling Device / Selective Cooling of Spaces
Large percentage of electricity goes toward cooling unoccupied spaces. If we could just cool where the people are at any moment then it should reduce energy costs. Two paths would be intelligent buildings which with computerized flow systems redirect the specific locations or passive/active cooling clothes, surface area or heat sink methods. A combination of methods should probably be used.

A method for removing the fat from the storage cells and releasing them into the blood stream with dialysis like cleaning mechanism for treatment of obesity.

The question first is why haven't peltier personal cooling devices taken off? There have been a few startups try personal cooliong. Is there something fundamentally wrong with the math that it should be easier to cool 1 human body with output 100w versus an entire space? I can think of one problem is condensation. So, you would still need central cooling but provided you keep the difference below the condensation or deal it with in another way then it seems a no brainer. It seems this technology should take off already as it could disrupt the entire A/C industry but it never has. Why not?
The second is the idea. Sitting has been associated with a lot of health problems but after adopting a sit-stand desk years ago and a treadmill desk even, I have noticed that for high concentration work that sitting still seems to be better. I think what may be needed thus is a "weight reduction" system for standing. A harness system with high strength rubber bands attached to a hoist or aperture system might be ideal. This would allow one to stand or lean back and sit. A prototype could be built simply with rubber bands attached to a secure frame or squat cage.

Mathematical notation may be likened to a form of compression that can be difficult to comprehend for those not trained in mathematics. Hyper Text Markup, HTML, "links" represents a simple 1d memory expansion form that has proven ubiquitous on the WWW. However, it suffers from limitation of only being able to expand in "one way". A N-dimensional link context may be able to expand to many forms, by displaying in a circular form N-numbered list of links off any word. Such N-dimensional link format could be used to allow for many-branching off points.
Applied to mathematical formulas, it should be possible to thus create self-describing mathematical forms. Such a language embeds in "LATEX?" like formula and offers the ability to branch off any symbol for description of the symbol. More over, if the linking mechanism would branch off to simulation or sandbox style environment, it may be possible to create language-less self-describing, self-demonstrating, mathematical forms using computer visualization
