I went through the forum but couldn't really find an answer I was looking for.
I've decided to learn to code and based on my research the language I want to learn is Python.
The question is for anyone who has experience in coding, especially trading related, can you recommend a path to take to become good at Python? I have very basic understanding of coding in general, however I've working in IT for many years and a tech guy.
I am currently taking a very basic online introduction to Python on Udemy. From what I've read online in order to become an expert in Python (or any other language I assume) I need to choose a specific path or an area of interest, in this case it would probably be science/machine learning/etc.
Can you recommend some kind of courses (online/offline), books, etc. to give me good knowledge and understanding of Python that can eventually help me out in building strategies and all that good stuff related to trading?
I currently use InvestorRT and their RTL language, but that is very basic even though not too bad. I do have Ninja as well but only for execution and BookMap.
