I would like to learn how to program a indicator in Ninja 6.5.
I would like to take a std. MACD and have the lines change color when they cross the 0 line and I would like the Histogram to change color when it crosses the 0 line also.
Where is a good place to begin ?

Hello. I hope this is the right section to ask. I wonder if it would be possible to have a modified MACD for Ninja to show green bars above zero/red bars below zero, looking like in the pic. I suppose it shouldn't be hard to code. I looked everywhere …
As cory said, the best place to begin is by looking at the code for indicators you understand. Make minor changes and see how those changes affect the result. Remember to make a backup of any indicator before you make changes.
Either you rely on the solution shown below, or you would buy yourself a basic book on C# and install an editor. Microsoft Visual C# Express Edition and SharpDevelop are freeware. After having aquired some basic knowledge, you can proceed to modifying and then coding indicators.
You could also print out the NinjaTrader helpfile to get an overview of the methods supplied with Ninjascript.
