There seems to be a severe backwardation right now between G8-H8, and lesser one for H8-J8. Is this a common theme for this time of year in nat gas?
I did play the widowmaker spread from the long side for a major winner, but also was able to get a small profit after reversing and shorting the spread (almost didn't work ).
So, my question is how you folks trade the spread mostly in this backwardation setup. Thanks!

I do not trade these spreads. A change in the weather forecast can cause major moves upwards or downwards. And I am unfortunately unable to forecast the weather ...
