Learning geometry ideas and this looks like it has potential.

It looks a little like a smaller section of a bigger "Andrews pitchfork"?

Not wanting to take the wind out of your sails at all, but IMO one of the curious things about geometric principles and structures, as applied to market charts, is the way in which it's sometimes comparatively easy to be (as Taleb put it) "fooled by randomness", i.e. to envisage structure and patterns which may not really be quite as significant as they appear when identified with some selection-bias, survivorship-bias and by anecdotal evidence.

That doesn't make them any less interesting, of course - just something to be aware of?

Given the current raging long market, I would not expect a full move back to the lower parallel, but similar setups this week have surprised me, so let's see what occurs. I certainly would be taking profits if I was long there.
