Leatherneck,

can you come up with clear rules that define when the Show Me should display something? From your screenshot it appears you are looking for divergences and verbalizing programmable rules for them can be a lot harder than spotting them for the human eye.

Seeing that you posted a similar request in the Tradestation forum, did the reply you received there about the MACD Divergence indicator help you? It seems to be a good start and you should be able change the MACD with the Balance of Power.

Regards,

ABCTG

Thank you for the reply, I did try making changes to the MACD divergence showme on the tradestation forums. I could never get it to validate. I'm probably doing something wrong. Here's example of Daily Strategy. Scan stocks nightly looking for Divergence opportunities.
Prefer Classic / Hidden Bullish Divergence. Or hidden Bearish Convergence (Price = LH, Indicator = HH, or Price = HH Indicator = LH.) my problem is I like my balance of power much more than the MACD Div
If Divergence is present, it will ALWAYS be Bullish. I'll upload a link of a MACD divergence show

I would rather get the showme to work with my balance of power setup

Leatherneck,

for a book recommendation, I'd suggest to start with the free EL Essentials PDF that you can obtain from the Tradestation website.

Posting the code with the changes you made to the MACD indicator could be helpful to point you in the right direction, too.

These 2 free books might be outdated, but they contain a ton of useful info. I used these to learn Easy Language way back when...
