I've been doing sim trading forex (especially GBPUSD) with NT7/Gomi for quite a long while, and did well enough to take the next step now and open&run a live account. I am completely new to this though and would warmly welcome any piece of advice in choosing a reliable broker/data supplier.

My trading timeframe is between 10 seconds and ~2 hours, usually 5 ticks to 20 ticks. I think I'll stick to my favourite instrument, the 6B=GBPUSD pair.
I'm a bit concerned about my physical distance to the exchanges, as I am located in the north of Thailand, far away from 'where the action is'. My computer tells me that the latency to NinjaTraders Continuum Demo data server is about 300 milliseconds.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on what I'm planning to do here... what broker and data supplier should I choose?

kindest regards,

Outside of North America, we currently support Interactive Brokers and FXCM for FX trading. We expect to bring online City Index by the end of the year.
