Hi, I'm using the zigzag volume for Multicharts downloaded from this site. And I want to convert it to EL on tradestation. Although PowerLanguage and EasyLanguage are most the same, but there are some difference in reserved words etc, so could anyone help me? I think this indicator is very well coded, it in Multicharts download section, zigzag volume.
Thanks.

jiaqiangmit,

what are the error messages you get? Depending on how the MC code is written, you might have to change the reserved words for the trendline drawing to either object oriented drawing objects or legacy reserved words (basically TL_New instead of TL_New_s, TL_New_DT or TL_New_BN and the corresponding reserved words to update trendline start and end points).
This should get you going.

thanks, tradestation cannot verify the codes, here are some errors in the attachments. Thanks very much.

I wish I could post all the codes here, but it's not own work, is it permitted to do this?

jiaqiangmit,

what I wrote for TL_New will apply to Text_New as well. As Tradestation will not allow you to back reference NoPlot, you could for example change the color of the plot on those bars to "transparent" as a workaround.

ABCTG,
Thanks for your help. I have another three questions.

the 2nd and 3nd is in the picture.
Thanks

jiaqiangmit,

I am afraid it's not clear to me what you mean with your first question, please elaborate. What are your intentions with the code line shown in your first screenshot? For the second screenshot, TS legacy text doesn't allow changing the size of the text with a reserved word and you would have to remove it from the code.

Regards,

ABCTG
