Hello,

Please a need help with the development of 4hourly pivot point for Ninjatrader. This does not come with the regular built-in Pivot point indicators for Ninjatrader.

I will like to be able to select a four hour range and have the pivots calculated and displayed on the charts. please if there is any code developer in the house who can do this, i will require your services even if i have to pay for it.

That is possible

You need to add a second data series, then add the indicator to work with that data series
and then hide the data series

This video explains how to do it :

Please explain how to setup the 4-hour pivot calculation because I think you will always get the pivots calculated on the prior day and not based on 4-hours. Not even when using another DataSerie.

You need an indicator that calculates the pivots on the dataset.

Don't confuse pivots with levels from the prior day.

Pivot Points are calculated with the Open, High, Low and Close of the prior day.

That is just one possibility of calculating pivots, in case of 4 hour pivots, that's not the way
I would calculate it.
