Hi guys,

I'm trying to duplicate the SierraChart in Ninja 7 (yes, I know, time to go to Ninja 8, I have to much code to change at the moment).

I've attached my attempt. I put the plotting in a timer because the indicator was stuck to the interval of the chart and not updating.

Still it does not work like I want. Ninja advised that I do a PLOT OVERRIDE, which I'm not sure how to do with this.

Can anyone fix the attached code (for NT 7) so the display flows like SierraChart?

On the chart, I hide the Data Series setting the
Chart Style to Line on Close
Line width 1
Color Transparent

and then set this indicator to
CalculateOnBarClose False
Panel Same as input Series

ok, the top of the chart is a 5 minute candlestick

the bottom of the chart is the indicator I want to reproduce

it scrolls time/sales bid/ask real time right to left, fast....NOT in synch with the 5 minute chart, the scrolling in completely independent

(Sierrachart) once a line segment is drawn it does not change and the scrolling is fast

the Ninja indicator I uploaded (in this thread) is in a timer (1/2 second) so that at least it scrolls, otherwise it only scrolls with the instrument interval, even if the instrument is hidden

the Ninja indicator also will often draw a line segment then erase it, and draw another segment in the same place without scrolling...I have no idea why

I found I really like the simple SierraChart indicator....I had to go to SierraChart so that I could get the Bitmex stream...Ninja does not have an interface...and once I started playing with SierraChart, it is really cool....!!
