I'm not sure of the cost on Interactive Brokers but generally they are very good on price. My first answer (not 100% sure but worth a look) would be them.

Thanks , I am on IB. The futures cost a alot though. Plus as much as I understood from one post, IB does not follow the SPAN margins, not exactly sure if that is true.

TT, cts futures and cqg all offer some version of a spreader.

While TT is expensive at around $1800/month, I believe they may have a transaction based model where you pay $400 + 0.3 per contact.

There is X Trader Pro which is $1500-$1,700 a month depending on the FCM.
The transactional model is via TT Trader which is $400 per month +.3 routing per contract as stated above.

Hi,

What platform would be able to create futures synthetic spreads / trade spreads without costing a bomb?

Depending on the exact kind of spreads you are looking to trade ( simple futures spreads? advanced options spreads?) there are the regular platforms many mentioned like CQG, TT etc. but you may want to also check out CQG Q trader at $40 month or our free platform E-futures Int'l

PM with any questions about Cannon Trading (800) 454-9572 (310) 859-9572. Trading commodity futures, forex and options involves substantial risk of loss. The recommendations contained in this post are of opinion only and do not guarantee any profits. These are risky markets and only risk capital should be used.
