Hi Guys,

So I have developed my own strategy and want to start trading with a bot.

I would like to know the best platform to use and broker, the best combination of both would be good ?

I am UK based so it seems my options seem to limited ?

I am thinking NT 8 but the broker who called me says that I basically only have a choice between forex.com who he says are good but bigger spreads but the only thing I hear about them is bad and fxcm who he tells me got booted out from the US offering their services but operate outside the US.

Or do I go with Metatrader and have much more of choice with brokerage ?

Thanks in advance for your responses it's greatly appreciated.

As you say you are interested in forex, from my time on the forex forums MT4 was the most popular platform by far. especially for people wanting automated EAs (expert advisors).
The unregulated aspect of the spot forex markets is a whole other question but they do have an advantage over futures in that they have mini or micro lots so you can only be risking a Dollar or less per pip movement. IGindex have a good reputation in the UK. Or Oanda led the way with being able to trade fractions of a penny per pip. What platforms those two offer these days I don't know.
