Question about keeping order alive in Easylanguage
Hi Guys
I have written a program that when I turn on the automated strategy places order 3 points below the market price ,but the problem is that I can not keep the order alive ,it disapears(cancels) on the next bar .can anyone tell me how i can solve this problem ?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?

There are people much better than me at easylanguage here, but let me make an attempt.
Easylanguage code runs at the end of each bar, and orders are sent for the next bar. So in your case it's evaluating bar 1 and sending the order on bar 2. In order for the order to still be active on bar 3, there would have to be something on bar 2 as well.
If you did something like
this will continue working the order as long as myworkorderflag = true and not just for the one bar following the bar that {trade criteria is met}
