HI
i am new to sierra chart ,i am using number bars to trade stocks only the chart looks ugly because of the range of the bars and i need to make it fit the chart .I changed the Tick Size in chart settings to .05 and the chart now looks better .Does by doing this i skip important levels?(like .01 .02 .03 .04 )

For ES Try "5r" for range bars of 5 ticks in range. Also I find 6 ticks works well. For ZB or ZN 3-4r and for CL 10r works well.

I agree with bdsound on futures range settings, with the additional idea that you can adjust the range based on volatility. When CL is sluggish I use a 5-6R.
What you're looking for is volume at price, and who's in control at what price. So the smaller ranges are included into whatever range you select. But a too large range will give you oscillations within the range bar, potentially masking the rotations within the chosen large range when in a range bound market.
