Hi Guys,

I have been lurking around without much participation for too long, I recently had this journal template made up to make my market journalling easier. It is quick, no fuss way of managing multiple journals from the one worbook with automatic timestamping and the ablity to reference any image that may be stored in the IMAGES folder.

See the video for a breif description here

Hopefully some of you may find it helpful!

Cheers.

Marty.

Greetings,
I found this simple but elegant spreadsheet that i'd like to use for trading E-mini micro's. Ive inputed commission levels and $$ per tick ( that was easy and some sample trades in NQ. The limitation at this point is that it only calculates data for one contract ( I am trading 3). I am Excel ignorant so can somone please add a column that would reflect trading 3 or more contracts? Obviously, you are free to use/modify this spreadsheet if you wish. Many thanks.

With this spreadsheet structure, adding a column with number of contracts would imply that you always will go all-in and all-out.

Is this the case?

Yes, but with a scale-out, i.e. all-in at entry, 2 contracts exited at X price, last one at X price. ATM strategy in NT7.

So, it's not an all-in, all-out then

You can't add a column in your spreadsheet with the current structure to do what you want. Adding a column will not resolve the fact that you are exiting at a different price across multiple contracts.

You are better off recording a trade with multiple contracts on multiple rows with this spreadsheet.

If that's not clear, for more info about what I'm talking about, check this post, under "Trade Id and Size" paragraph.

Here are some additional templates I've come across recently:
Built for backtesting but works well with live trading I'd imagine (Costs $20)

Free, but read-only. The formulae are all viewable to replicate on your own though:

Thanks,
Looking for editable Google Sheets template for Daytrading, Crypto investments, with time stamps and ability to do year end profit/loss.
Maybe one of these will work.
