I had a web chat with Dave from IQfeed and he tells me that it costs

Quoting
[Dave] 78+20+20=118
[Dave] per month to us + the $15/month exchange fee

Does everyone else that uses IQfeed pay the $78 per month?

If so then why would I choose IQfeed and pay $78 over a cheaper and just as reliable option? Rithmic/CQG data for eg.

Im with Interactive brokers, who Ive just discovered dont talk to CQG so that combination goes flying out the window quicker than dogshit off a spade.

SO what is the most reliable option that doesn't cost minimum $120 per month for data and level 2 and that will work with Sierra+IB?

Any advice is appreciated.

Sierra offers Barchart data on their website which supports level 2 data. Its really cheap, check it out.

Yes I have used it. Its unfiltered tick data its good for footprint charts and volume profile. Interactive brokers data is delayed snap shot data.

Some guys want to stay with their broker and execute there but want a quality data for analysis.
If you dont mind switching and saving a few bucks along the way, you should consider CQG/Rithmic for Sierra.
All provide good quality data and you will pay substantially less with them.
Both CQG and Rithmic are capable of delivering historical data and capable of execution.

Thanks,
Matt Z

Matt I hear you and I would like to go with CQG however they dont work with IB. On top of which, Sierra have a lot to say about IB on their platform with all sorts of warnings and disclaimers which makes me uncomfortable using IB and Sierra.
I sent you an email on 04/05/2017 asking a few questions wrt Amp, rates etc.. perhaps it went into your spam folder, I know you were busy with the webinar yesterday but I didn't get a response. If you would kindly check and let me know?
Thanks.
