I have a day chart which I frequently look at. Is there an indicator or plugin or something that will enable me to have a predefined list of instruments listed at the top of the chart, so that I can quickly scan through instead of using the drop down list. I dont like having multiple tabbed charts open and this way maintains a single window which consumes less resources than maintaining multiple tabbed windows that hardly get looked at . much quicker than the drop down list as well.

Thanks.

I don't know if it's possible in the way you describe it - to me it looks very similar to the tabs view.

Why not have multiple charts - it's even quicker to glance at, no?

Quicker yes, but information overload becomes a problem for me. I need to process things sequentially. Tabbed is an option but this would be a 'nice to have' feature.

Yeah something like that. Thanks.

I am using the workspace indicator, it allows to switch with a click of the mouse from one workspace to
another. I hardcoded my instruments in the indicator and there are as many buttons on each chart as
workspaces, from any workspace i can jump to any workspace. If you don't find the indicator or need a
screen shot let me know..

That's where brain plasticity comes in. Sometimes information overload can be an issue for me too, but I reckon the brain learns on its own to discriminate between important info and noise.

Of course it's all part of the learning curve

I took your advice. I've loaded pre market analysis up in individual windows to see if it compliments well. They are all higher timeframes so I dont notice every little twitch of the market. I think this might assist with perspective which I tend to lose when watching the hypnotic pull of bleeding edge timeframes like a 500 volume or whatever.
So yeah thanks. Im working on breaking this tendency of jumping to conclusions without first having xplored (see what I did there?) what has been suggested.
Cheers bud.
