The sound file "Alert1" is atrocious.
Trying to replace it with something not so intrusive.

Even when I save this indicator as a new one.
Then I go into the code and change the sound file, it still uses the original horrific sound file.

Suggestions?

Indeed.

If the code compiles ok and you can reload it (F5) or restart Ninja it should be fine, also check which directory it is actually using.

However, if it is somehow locked or is actually using a DLL that you can't change, then maybe rename the Alert1.wav file out of the way and then rename a copy of a sweeter sounding alert file to be Alert1.wav instead.
